Default FLP is Great! (please read)

Well after the long process of installing my headers (the LAST bolt broke off in the head) I ran into a few problems. It looked as though I was sent some extra parts in my kit..Along with the Lt1 Ypipe. When installed this sits right on the tranny crossmember, shakes the whole car, and causes knock retard. Not to mention hangs about 1" off the ground. So I called FLP one day during the install because the lt1 clamps weren't fitting, they sent me out the right ones overnight for free. So I got to install my parts and go to work. Then I notices the lt1 y pipe. Just this morning I got an Email from Mitch over at FLP. Talked to him for a bit and hes going to send me out a whole new ypipe, even without me sending in the old parts first! I want to thank Mitch and FLP for taking care of the problems I had and making, IMO, the best headers for LS1's. These headers are perfect and their customer service is top notch! I highly recommend these headers to anyone looking to buy some, you can't beat FLP.
Thanks again FLP!

You don't happen to have an e-mail addy for FLP, do you? I'm trying to e-mail them about their 4L60E tranny, but they don't seem to be responding to the addy posted on their site. I could just call, but e-mail is easier

Just give them a call, they will answer the phone. Everytime I call I get someone to answer and help me out. If no one is there you can leave a msg with Dan.

I'll second FLP's customer service and products! They're always willing to help to make their product fit right on your car, and they NEVER cut corners on ANY of their products. My first experience with their headers was a year ago this last October when they were first released. I swapped them out on my 383 T/A, and the HP and TQ gains were HUGE across the board! I gained 40 RWHP and 40 RWTQ in the 4,000-4,500 RPM range! With a looser converter (Vig 4000 flashing over 5k in my car), the headers STILL netted a gain of 10 RWHP and 10 RWTQ at 7,000 RPM. That was the SMALLEST gain that I saw from them. Keep in mind that this same converter was showing a loss of 38 RWHP unlocked vs. locked! Needless to say, my SS got a set, too.
Stay tuned for more products from FLP. They have some stuff in the works!
