Will this code set a SES light? just curious.

Yup, P0300 is common in cammed cars. It's one I wish I had removed <img src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" border="0" alt="[guns]" />

Thanks to all for confirming this. I just did not know as I had the DTC put no SES. Must have been stored. I have since cleared it.

Yes, ditch this code if you ever get a custom PCM. My upcoming PCM will not have it either.

Yep,

This winter, MTI will be getting my PCM for the upgrade. Got the car to idle around 700rpm. Used the Idle set screw and a small shim on top of the set screw. No idle codes so far so this is looking good.

Had the TB hole drilled out first then did the idle set screw fix. Car has a slight lope to it but sounds good. Great job by LS1Speed.
