This is soo true I whent with a TR224/112 cam cuz I thought it was gonna be an easy tune, but had soo many problems, then james (gillbot) introduced me to marc(98redorangeTA) his tuner and now I wish I whent with this cam cuz gillbots car is just awsome. So if you have a good tuner you can go with nearly any cam out there.

I'd rather go with the TSP Torquer V2 myself.

Damn this is an old thread!

I went with the titanium retainers, just because i wanted to keep the valvetrain lighter, and stronger. As for the pushrods, I used 7.400 and havnt had any problems.

Honestly, I never pay that much attention to it. Around the city in alot of stop and go traffic, its not good. But it does pretty damn well on the highway.

I made the numbers in my sig with mac mids and a stock ls1 intake. So with LT's and and ls6 intake, you should be at 400whp threw a M6.
Sorry man, i dont have any soudclips, but i can tell you it sounds mean(and loud) as hell. My exhaust set-up is in my sig.

That is a wimpy cam. i would daily drive the x4 cam from LG-motorsports and it's much bigger than that. That 230/224cam will daily drive just fine for ya. You can get bigger w/more power and it will drive just as nice,g5x3 from LG is awsome(i know i had it too.)

Pretty much any small to mid sized LSx cam will respond favorably to a 100-150 shot on nitrous including the 230/224.

I actually havnt sprayed it with the cam yet. When i went to have it tuned, it was the middle of the winter, and I hadnt put my bigger fuel pump in yet, so we wernt able to tune it for spray. My pump is in now, I just need to find time to go have it tuned again, and make sure the A/F is ok.
