funny thing is i didnt overrev it....i was actually crusing in 4th gear going about 45 when i gagged the gas and i noticed a loud ticking noise right after....i think that the pushrod was already pre bent there on the bigger half and was just rubbing up and down cause there is a little mark on it which you cant really see in the picture...but anyway might have got stuck and just decided to break...who knows though all is well and im glad nothing was seriously hurt <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Make sure you change your oil and filter right away. That rubbing caused metal to drain down with the oil.
