Question about MAF translator
Is a MAF translator worth it for me? Would I be better off without it? What I am wanting is the ability to run my ported MAF with Nitrous. Before when I had the ported maf in I was running too lean for comfort. I didn't want to spray running quite that lean, so I installed my unported maf and that seemed to fix things somewhat. I'm still a little lean sometimes, but I don't think it's that bad. My O2s are in the mid .800's sometimes, and get as good as mid .900's. Also, I seem to have lost about a tenth or so N/A, going back to my stock maf. At least that's all I can attribute to it. I just don't know if I can see any gains by going with a maf translator and ported maf or not. I've seen that some people haven't seemed to make the translator work for them, but some have. I'm trying to figure out if the expense is worth it for me. Possibly for future mods as well. Any input?
It will help you...it will work good for your Nitrous Setup, you can set it rich just to be on the safe side...and you can also fix the N/A problem..
