Porting MAF & Porting Throttle Body?
You ported the TB where the throttle blade sits? When the throttle blade is closed, you can see in between the blade and the body? If so, you are screwed. Only port the lip that sits in front of the blade, not under the blade too.
Suprised your idle didn't jump up from the additional air being drawn in. It should be like you did the TB hole mod and went apeshit. lol
Cons: You have to buy a new TB
Pros: You can buy a BBK TB that would go great with a H/C setup.
Maybe you can go with it, I don't know for sure.

How many of you have done this yourself. I ported my MAF big time and I spray painted it Chevrolet Orange. It looks bad ***, I'll post pics. But I have heard that on the throttle body you can only really polish the lip? Is this true? Yesterday I took my TB off and ported the whole inner from the Blade down to the lip. I also turned the blade open and ported out the area where the blade closes. I felt somewhat of a difference. Do you know how much rwhp we should be getting on our cars with a larger tb and maf?

Do you have a-tap? Also did you grind down the throttle bump stop? Bump stop mod That will help you when doing it.

Yes, I did that a few months ago and it felt like crap until the computer learned what I did. All together my car feels great now.
