It depends on where you want to go with this car and what mods you already have. Me personally, heads were my very last mod! I see no need in buying heads until you've done a cam and every bolt-on and free mod in the book. Then if your still serious and will keep the car(no point in putting 2k worth of heads then selling the car)then buy some good heads. I also think N2O is a must! Its cheap and easy, start out with a dry shot, learn the ropes and then get WET! Another reason why I say heads last............unless your a jam up mech. and have a lift and all the tools, there is alot of hidden cost that come with heads. When you look at that $1200-2200 price tag just add another $800-1100 labor and parts in and see how much it makes sense then.

bleh... why would you go dry first to learn before going wet??
I'll agree that dry is safer as long as it is tuned and your injectors are up to snuff... but why the switch? From what I've read wet is easier to tune, but ultimately less safe than a perfect dry setup.
I think for the money spent, nitrous is a much better idea than heads. Yes heads are always there making power, but not a lot, not in most cases at least. Look at your hp/dollar (or rather dollar/hp ), you can see that even with a lot of nitrous refills you are still at a better ratio than with heads.

I have both and had that cam with both. The best choice is to get heads and then n2o if you need more. n2o cost money and contrary to what others will say, does eat your motor. It wasnt setup from the factory to take a shot, not even a 100 shot. I sold my sb and the guy who bought it said the bearing( journals?) had taken a beating. I only sprayed a 100 shot a few times on it. I have both now h/c and n2o but I also have a forged bottom end setup for a 300 shot to handle it.

i have the afr 205's and the tr224 plus a wet kit on top of it. i will let you know what i think next week. It will be running by next weekend. i went with a smaller tr224 because i was sick of no low end power with out the spray. you df don't want to depend on the spray it gets old real fast filling that bottle.

Good heads & add spray later if you want more. The good thing about the heads, is the power is there all the time. Also helps the low end TQ you loose with a cam. Don't go cheap on heads. AFR or ETP.
