I called PACE today to see about ordering an LS6 oil pump for my '99 LS1 since I will have the motor torn down for a cam change anyway and was told that P/N 12563964 Oil Pump was used on all '97 & newer LS1 motors. Has this superceded the previous oil pumps? I thought that this was a special high pressure pump.
