tb mod and atap??????

Default tb mod and atap??????

how do you get the % of how much it's opening? mine with a little cutting is at 4.5 at wot.it looks like it is open , but before i take any more off, i need to see the % how on atap is this done?michael <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

I would atap it. I was going to do the mod myself, but atap shows 100% open at wot. Maybe tightening my throttle cable was the trick, but probably not because the stop on the tb has always touched the bumpstop. Did you tighten your cable? Most come too loose from the factory, so you should check that weather it helps get your tb angle 100% or not.

Use a voltmeter. No need to use A-tap...it's not always accurate with this particular situation. Some people have read 100% opening at WOT but only see 4.5v on a voltmeter. 4.6x volts is full opening. FWIW, mine read about 4.62v with no grinding. Be sure you floor the gas pedal and get someone to check the voltage then too, to make sure your throttle cable isn't loose. Mine still read 4.62v that way as well.
