A guy just did this in a V. More involved than what he thought. Alot of splicing into the wiring harness to use the various LS2 sensors that are different from the LS6. Also PCM reprogramming will need to be done. I'm sure there are more items but that is all I could remember right now.
Why not just build up a LS6?

A few sponsors sell the shortblock with all necessary conversion pieces such as front and rear covers, valley cover, timing gears, and racetronix and katech sell adapter harnesses for knock sensors and cam pos sensor. If youre not expecting these differences, it may seem like a lot, but as long as youre aware, it souldnt be too much. A few guys in my local club have em.

Yea, i saw that 402 LS2 from Texas-speed came with alot of that stuff. If the harnesses are all plug and play thats fine, I just need a list so i can see how much they cost to see if they're in budget.

If you buy from TSP or SDPC you get everything needed including the harness in the price you see from them.

402 is well and good, but the new 415-418 L92s and the budget 427s using the LS7 block are only a little bit more, but have the potential for even more power.
