There's not much use in polishing an intake port. In fact, it can be detrimental. There's more of a possibility that the fuel droplets can fall out of suspension. I like to polish the combustion chamber and exhaust port because it reflects heat back and keeps carbon from building up. I am pretty sure the Patriot heads aren't hand finished, so the ports are going to just have the standard CNC marks. You really aren't going to gain much HP from the polishing, maybe 2 or 3 HP, if that.
