The only thing I heard of is 3, 4, 5 angle valve jobs. Now I just had my heads cleaned up and the guy said he was doing a 5 angle cut on mine.

I guess theres different terms for the job..

Some one has to have played with different angles?
The old small block chevy 23* heads use the 30,45,60 degree cuts.....but with the 15* LS1 heads I would think the cuts would be different as the valve sits straighter in the bore.
Anyone?

This link might help you a little bit (but probably not much).

Yeah that isnt telling me anything!
I want to hear from some pro head porters what they are using?
I already talked to someone that use to work for GTP and he told me that changing the angles a little steeper will improve flow.

You are going to have to call the porters and ask on the telephone. I wouldn't think (could be wrong) they are going to broadcast it on the board. You might be surprised to what shops really know what angles they are too.
