Default how many cumbustion chamber CC's are lost from a resurfacing?

i bought LQ9 heads for my turbo build, they have a 72cc cumbustion chamber, when i brought them in to be resurfaced they had to mill .007 off each one, did that effect how much they will lower my compression or is .007 not enough to effect it?

6-7 thou= 1 CC depending on the head. You bumped the CR ~ .1-.2

It will increase your compression and could possible cause a problem in extreme clearance situations. If this is a concern, you can buy a thicker headgasket to install. A good machine shop should be able to help you accomplish this.

Exactly. Your 72cc head is now 71cc. Just compensate for it with a thicker gasket.
