Default Looking at a sheetmedal intake and doing a cam change

With the shorter runners and larger plenum I'm trying to go thru some cam specs to go with the combo. The heads flow around 335 @ .550 on the intake side so shot me some of your thoughts.

I've already got a intake picked out... the cam specs are the unknown.

What do your flow numbers look like at 0.400?

Eric I don't have that information because my good friend in Houston can't find the build sheet on my heads.... He says it's on his desk but I've seen his desk so I don't have much hope of ever having that info. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Joe, are you going with the same intake that Judson is running on the orange car now?

I suppose you are sticking with the solid roller setup, what cam specs did Judson run in the black 375ci car they had? That might be a good start.

Tony that's the intake... It'll work better on a 370 t0 380 inch motor than a big cube stroker motor. The intake on Jud's car is no better than a LS6 intake until you get to 6000rpm's but from six to eight it out performs it. As far as the cam in the 375 goes that might be a good starting point since my rotating assemble is good to go to 7800.
The short lenghth and area of the runners will have alot to do with LSA and duration. Jud and I talked about it last week when I was in Houston and figured we would just call LSM systems and see what he said and then go from there. The hard part about picking a cam is the deciding on the amount of lift the springs will tolerate without having to be replace too often.

Loosing low end torque is another consideration but I've figured that out also. A couple of spraybars in the intake will fix that.
