Default Heads/Cam for 383

Hey guys, I'm gathering parts to stroke my car to a 383 and I'm trying to decide on the heads and cam I want. I want to be able to drive the car in traffic if I hit some, but it is not a daily driver....here are the car specs
* means I have it but it's not going on until the stroker kit does
99 formula M6 (short throw of course)
PPE Typhoon Intake 92mm/matching TB
Whisper lid
*Moser 9' w/4.11 gears
*looking for a ws6 lower airbox* Mecham ram air hood
*Eagle 383 stroker kit
*MT street radials 17' (rear only)
PPE Typhoon Intake 92mm/matching TB
Whisper lid
Pacesetter LT, True duals, H-pipe, SLP LM resonators dumped before rear axle
Spec stage 2 clutch (getting a Textralia oz700)

That should be all the stuff pertinent to my question (yes, I do have everything else I need to support a stroker, but it would take far too long to list it all). I am honestly shooting for 550 to the wheels NA...I'm not going to use anything else...all motor baby!
Anyway, any opinions/ideas would be much appreciated....The TSP Giant cam looks mighty good but I think it may be a *touch* too big to be streetable, even in a 383...

AFR 225/ MS4

That sounds like a killer combo...may need flycutting...**** you could probably go bigger that the MS4

550 at the wheels may be a stretch but 500 should be doable. something like the tfs 225 or afr 225 with something like a 23x/24x on xer lobes with mid 11:xx scr/8.5-8.8 dcr should give you some decent numbers.

Dart 225s and a custom Futral cam should be a nice choice.

Hmm, well the guys at TSP said the MS4 would almost be a mild cam in a 383 because of the extra cubes...They *suggested* a custom grind, something around a 244/250 but I didn't ask what lobes they use....how do you think something in that range (with the xer)would pair with some AFR 225 heads...oh yeah, should I go with AFR or Dart or is it basically preference since they're both amazing heads?

Hate to double post, but TFS heads are an option too....do they make 225s?

yes and they put up great numbers.i think something like a 238/242 would be a great all around performer but if top end power is what you are mainly after that 244/250 sounds like a decent choice but be prepared to spin it pretty high.

Ok sweet, thanks for the input! I think your last recommendation there is a sure bet so I think it'll be something along those lines...I'll be sure to throw out some dyno sheets before/after everything!
