Default How often should I replace plug wires?

I have about 45,000 miles on a set of MSD wires. How much more life can I expect out of them? Or do I just replace them once the car starts to run crappy?

You can check them with an ohmmeter against MSD specs - if the resistance gets too high, toss 'em

Jake, my MSDs are still new in the box and they all ohm out to 26 to 29 ohms. Just an FYI...
