Is there any real improvement to this or is the amount of turbulence introduced by the accordion hose negligible?

I've got a 3" Fernco coupler, had to bevel the inside edge a little bit with a knife to get it to fit.
Gains? I didn't see or feel any. I think on the flowbench it's worth ~10 cfm. But its like the old lady said when she pissed in the ocean, "every little bit helps"

Yup Ryan, very hard to get my lid up, easier to just pull the hole thing off. I've heard that ppl have problems with the lid popping up on the driver's side when the engine torques if they have a Fernco. No problem here though.
TbaGZ, the old lady was helping to fill the ocean, every little bit helps Just like you might not see a gain with the Fernco or Baker hose or any other smooth tube, but every little bit of airflow helps.

I really do not think that anyone can really say they feel the power with this mod. I am sur it helps the air flow. I bought the SLP Bellows and the fit and looks are great...
