Default Is there anyplace that fabricates & sells merge collectors at a "reasonable" price?

I am contemplating using a merge collector when I fabricate my long tubes but can't find anyplace that sells them for a decent price. I've been quoted as high as $595/pr I'm looking for a mild steel set-up for 1-7/8" tubes. Any ideas?

Ethier Jegs or Summit sell collectors. I know that Flowmaster makes then... just don't have them on thier website.

Well, http://www.burnsstainless.com has them for $508/pair

Or, you could order the 1 7/8 weld up Hedman SBC header kit from Summit for $196 and throw the tubes & flanges in the trash and use the collectors.

I'd try finding a phone number to Hedman and seeing if you could get one of their collectors. If they put 2 collectors, all pipes, manifold flanges, gaskets, and bolts in a kit for $196, I'd think the collectors themselves would be cheap. Heck, the old story "I hit a pothole and trashed my collectors" would be good enough to get a pair for cheap out of them.

Good luck,

Andrew
