Default Forged ls1 bottom or Stock bottom?

I have the choice to go with a forged bottom on a ls1 or keep the stock. I am not trying to spend the extra money on it though. I wanted to know if I could still keep the stock bottom and if It would survive with about 475 rwhp and naturally asperated. I am not going to use Nos or any FI at this time. The mods are as follows:

TSP 200cc Heads
224/228 .637/.639 110 LSA cam
Electric Water Pump
Underdrive Pulleys
Fast 90/90 thats ported
Strange 12 bolt w/ 4.11 gears that has Line-x done to it
Full BMR package with Relocation Brackets
Mcleod Single Disk Clutch w/drill mod
A1 Steel 3" Drive Shaft
QTP long tube headers
Custom Y pipe
Hooker AeroChamber Mufflers with Center Mounted Exhaust
and more mods I forgot.

I would use the stock rods w/rod bolts, but maybe get your hands on some aftermarket pistons. I know its a couple people that make hyperutectic pistons with valve reliefs.

I don't care much for the sound I guess; I just don't want to waste 2500 if I don't have too. I was hoping the stock would last with these mods.

If you can find an aftermarket cast hyperutectic piston it will give you valve reliefs so you could mill your heads for more compression or run a bigger cam in the future without risk of PtoV issues.

if you're going to spend the money forging an ls1...just sell yours and buy an lq4/9. these bottom ends can handle a ****-ton more hp that 475 wheel on the STB assuming a proper tune. it's rare to see someone put a window in the block unless they're north of 7,200 rpm frequently...but rod bearing death is common, simply due to poor oil return (pre 00 block) and/or lack of oil.

I actually ported the cross over slot on the rear cover on my last build up, because I read some of the bad oiling issues. I used forged pistons and arp rod bolts. Its a standard bore and makes no piston noise... and if I decide to spray it later, I have the stuff to take it...
