Default Is the 160 thermostat really helping me?

I just put a T1 with 941 springs in my car.
I am aware that I am not supposed to romp on it until the engine warms up but this time of year, the engine takes forever to warm up.
Should I take it off? Would the stock temp be better off anyways since these engines perform well when they are somewhat warm?
Maybe I will take off the 160 thermo from my HPP3 until it warms up.

Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

i wouldn't it aint gonna hurt ya any you should still be gettin heat right but if it bothers you that much just take the program off the car til' it get's warmer outside but leave the stat in it will not hurt ya any.

matter a fact it will run at normal operating temp. if you take the program off it i have a 160 stat in my car and it run's at operating temp all the time i just don't have the program to go along with it
