Default Spark plugs?

Okay, I have been trying to figure out when to change my plugs. I have around 12,000 miles on the car. I have changed the plugs and wires prolly around 6,500 miles ago. When is the next time I should change them? C ar is not misfiring or anything, just wondering? They are TR55s? Thanks!

TR55s will last around 15-20,000 miles. Wires should last longer, but you can use an ohm meter to test them next time you do a plug change if you want. It’s good to take a read of the wires when their new so you have a base reading. The stockers are something like 300 to 350 new, and I know my MSDs were 26-28 new.

Hmmm. Thanks! What about Taylor 10.4 mm Race Thunervolts? I believe they are very low impedence as well, just like the MSDs.

Not sure about the Taylor’s. I’ve seen plenty of people on the board with them though, so someone should know. If not, you could contact the manufacturer and they should be able to tell you.
