Default Blown head gasket?

Changing oil tonight...open filler cap to find a few droplets of water on the underside of cap, and some trace amounts of white looking jizz on the inside of the filler neck. Doesn't "look"
like antifreeze, but does feel the same
if rubbed between your fingers. No droplets on dipstick...didn't notice any in the old oil
(wasn't really looking though),....no smoke out of exhaust, and tips are dry. WTF???????

Could a "small" amount as described be considered "normal" condensation?,...
or should I pull the V.covers and have a look?

Thought it could've been from the rocker bolts that are now into the water jackets, but put
what I thought was a very liberal amount of thread sealant on the bolts.

REALLY don't wanna pull the heads...AGAIN,......gonna do a vacuum check
tomorrow to see if that shows any fluctuations/low readings, but so far does
this sound like a blown head gasket?
Can I drive it with fresh oil while watching the cap/stick until I come to a conclusion, or
should I nut up and pull the heads tomorrow night?

The rocker bolts, into the water jackets??? nah! most ported heads break into the intake port. That's OK... Just pressure test the water to about 12-14psi sit and watch... if the guage drops quickly.... you've got probs... otherwise, go and have some cold air fun <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

It probibly is just condensate, but why take a chance on it.

In addition to pressure testing the cooling system as has been suggested, I'd do a cylinder leak-down test as well. If it is a bad head gasket, at least you'll know which side has to come off.

Enjoy your cars.

Clean it.

Don't pull anything.

For the next three mornings, pop off the radiator cap. Top it off the first day. Start the car, top it off until the t-stat opens. Might get a bit messy. If on the 3rd day you are still topping it off you might want to pressure test the cooling system. I was adding like a cup of coolant every day when I had a blown headgasket with the old motor.

Thanks for the input guys...I figured it was just some cold weather condensation, but hadn't seen that on this motor yet....guess I prematurely freaked at thought of pulling the head/s again.
