What heads do I need? So I am wanted to purchase some new/used heads for my 2000 T/A. The problem is I'm not really sure what heads I should go with. I talked to a buddy of mine and he told me that if I wasn't thinking about doing forced induction later on down the road I wouldn't want any heads larger than 5.7 liters. Now I'm not really sure if I should go with 5.3 heads or 5.7 heads because of the compression ratios and which one I would get the most power out of. Also I am not sure what manufacturer to go with. I plan on going with a mild cam with the heads so any suggestion will help! Thanks in advance guys.

The question is too loaded to give a proper answer. If you want honest opinions, list goals, cam sizes, driveability concerns and etc.
Personally, i believe for a heads/cam car, you can't beat AFR 205cc heads. Pricey, but well worth it.

Way to many threads posted on this subject to not have a better idea of what you want. Do some reading and help yourself.
