Default Opinions on Patriot Performance LS6 Heads

I am in the market to get some new heads for my '99 T/A. I already got a TR224/227-114 cam in it. I am at 381rwhp and I am trying to get to about 400-425. I have been seriously thinking about the Patriot Stage III LS6 heads. Does anyone currently have any heads from Partiot Performance? Do you like them/hate them? Any issues arise while having them, what kind of gains did you achieve with them. If you have any insight I would like to know your opinion on them so I can see if they are as good as a deal as they seem to be.

it is to my understanding that the stage 3 heads are for larger bore bigger CI motors....

i have the stage 2's with the 2.055/1.60 valves and i lost 5hp when i put them on with my TR224 112lsa cam. however when i just put my new "large" cam in...i picked up40hp over my TR224 cam. i'm now at 421hp at the wheels (mustang dyno)

I have the stage 2's and picked up around 65hp over my cam only #'s. Cam was really wanting to breath.

On that small a cam 243 castings with 2.02/1.57 valves is enough. (LS2 heads)

I have patriot stage 2 heads. They're a great deal. The only thing I'd suggest is to keep the stock valves. The Ferreas ate up a bunch of clearance and I'm basically right at the min. clearance with a small 224. Like Predator said...don't do the stage3.
