i hope you didn't buy those heads based on flow numbers, TEA uses a "flow data" bench which is about 15 to 20 percent higher than a 'SupperFlow" bench pluse they use a pipe on the exhaust which makes them another 15 percent higher, but they are still some bad *** heads. gool luck

Well, if our Flowdata shows an AFR 205 to flow 300 cfm, does that mean it really flows 240-255 cfm? Cause that is what an AFR 205 flows on our bench, and 240-255cfm would be the 15-20% you speak of.

The pipe does add about 10-15 % on a GOOD exhaust port, the pipe will cause a bad exhaust port to flow less.

I think he bought the heads based on the 500 RWHP they have made on a couple different dynos.

My friend has the same rug, neat. Parts look sick, should have plenty of fun with the install and gobs of new power

I wanted TFS heads because I kept seeing 480+ rwhp dyno's on stock short blocks. I wanted to assure 450 rwhp for my car on the stock block. I bought my TFS heads from TEA because they have really good customer service and answered ALL of my questions every time I called and no matter how often I called while I was waiting for them to finish my heads.

Lucky just to have her man, she loves my sorry *** and supports my obsession of Motorsports on top of all that she's beautiful! (oh and she sells Audi's so I get to check the latest and greatest A8 out or whatever whenever I want because they are packed in our driveway as Demos! )

That would be a foolish way to ruin a killer set of heads. We tried that and it is too easy to hurt flow. Those heads are so dialed in to the point that minute changes can negatively impact airflow

I was going to make some comment along those lines being a Buckeye fan but I was afraid I might lose a nice sale

Pre-FAST 90 and HS rockers, with a unfinished tune, it pulled 449/428 SAE corrected on a Dynojet. I'm getting a retune/redyno done in the spring. I also decided since the heads were off again, I'd get the new Cadillac racing lifters, and added a Vararam CAI.

Right, heads are CNC ported! I know I was using that lingo loosely. They are Total Engine Airflow ported.

She's a great girl I sure hope she sticks around

Whos doing your tune? Choose a reputable tuner, drive far if you have to,its well worth it. I would even consider an ECS mail order tune, since its their cam and they know the best tune for it.

I'm doing it with a friend/tuner actually. I have been tuning EFI cars for about 4 years, started with LT1 Edit then went to Supra world. The tune is everything.
