getusum, do you actually have a flowsheet from LME and not TEA, and what kind of flowbench does LME use?

The pipe does add about 10-15 % on a GOOD exhaust port, the pipe will cause a bad exhaust port to flow less.
I think he bought the heads based on the 500 RWHP they have made on a couple different dynos.

The TFS 225 flowed 324 intake on a superflow bench and the exhaust numbers were off by 30cfm.

Arguing about TFS vs AFR is really silly. They are both great heads. I'm sure I could have gone with AFRs with same results. Bottom line is, it's time to enjoy these things!

I'm thinking someone needs to do some pruning in this thread to clip out some of the uncalled for negative comments. That looks like an incredible stack of parts there...wish I had the money this year to do that Soon enough I suppose...keep us updated on the numbers when you get them

The article says a 205cc AFR head was used. Here's some quotes from the article.
[GMHTP]
Their LS1 Mongoose (prepared for this test to run on an LS2 engine) is no exception. The 2.02/1.60-inch intake/exhaust valve arrangement combines with a 205 cc intake port for a delicious combination of high velocity and big flow.
AFR
* Name AFR LS2 Mongoose
* PN 1510
* Price $2,479.99
* Combustion Chamber size 66 cc
* Intake Port Size 205 cc
* Valve Sizes (intake/exhaust) 2.02/1.60 inches
[/GMHTP]
Also here's the thread you started about the GMHTP Head Shootout.

A TFS 215 against an AFR 205, even Tony Mamo was curious what a AFR 225 would have done in the test.

I am a body shop owner, so it was pretty easy for me.
First. clean it with soap and water. or rubbing alcohol and dry it quickly.
Then use a spray can plastic primers. Then the color. Let dry for a while then clear it.
The next day come in and hand paint the logo's as desired. It took about 2 hours total. And waala!
Jeff. I would almost bet 1K it makes 450+ HP.

I think the TFS heads are some of the best heads out there ( The best LS1 heads TEA has ever produced.) along with ETP and AFR, but I don't like the inflated numbers off a different type of flowbench that Tooley uses.
jeffstar, based off your before dyno numbers you should hit 450rwhp easily maybe even 480rwhp. Good Luck!
