Keith and the McCord power plate rock! Got my Mccord power plate about a week ago from Keith for $100 shipped to my door. Went to install the plate and the switch and it was a BREEZE. Took about 1 hour to install it, 30-40 mins of that was running the cable from the cutout to the console since its my first time doing that. Anyway, got this plate all setup and it is AWESOME! takes about 5 seconds to go from full open headers <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> to quiet exhaust through the catback <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0"> I can now drive around town stealth quiet then blast the exhaust when someone looks my way for a race, its great! The plate looks very well designed and it is a great setup. People have had problems in the past with the first version of this product, and since this is the second version I can attest to the fact that it is of great quality. Several other people have had these for 6+ months and havent had a single problem..havent even heard of any problems with the new version.
The BEST part of this is the customer service from Keith. You cannot beat it, period. He sends an email when you place order, then an email when it is shipped, then to let you know where to go to get instructions and help. I broke my switch putting it on because I wasnt paying attention, emailed Keith that it broke, he busted his *** and put a whole new switch together for me and sent it out the next morning..2-day air..FOR FREE! I thanked him and sent him paypal $10 for his effort and to cover any shipping charges and he wont even take my money! Keith ROCKS and so does the plate. If anyone is going to run a loud exhaust like these ls1's can put out, you should really check into getting this, for $100 and 30 mins of your time, you will know you spent your money well! Hope this info helps out some people who have been looking at a product like this, for the price and fun of the mod, this is a great value that is hard to beat! Tunnels and under-passes will never be the same.
