Borla makes more power from what i've heard, as far as sound, that all depends on personal preference.

I would definitely recommend the Borla. I actually love the Borla tips(but to each their own). Plus you can run it loud as he!!(sounds mean) or run it capped off(quiet and refined). Borla would probably flow a little better and I personally think Corsa is too tame(quiet).

Has anyone dynoed these two different catbacks (with the Borla not wide open) on the same setup? I would be really curious to see this.

I have the Corsa and I like it alot.
I just ordered a cut-out to add for track and dyno purposes. Also will be adding a McCord power plate. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Default Borla VS Corsa? (which would you recommend?)

First off, this isn't a which one sounds better topic or which one performs better.

I've heard both corsa and borla and they don't really compare. Borla's loud and corsa has a nice sound to it. Here's the thing..i like both, but have to choose one.

I like the borla cuz it's like having a cut-out, but i don't care too much for the tips.

I like the corsa cuz it looks good and sound nice, but it's not really as free flowing as a borla.

I had a cut out before but i want a cat-back this time around. Also i'm not gonna throw a cut out on a $600 cat back..that's just dumb.

Which do you guys think is an all around better buy?

PS: Don't post if you're gonna recommend a loudmouth or something else, i'm set of one of these two only.

thanks

Well since you don't like the looks of Borla and you had a cutout. I would say go with Corsa. They sound nice and look good.

I have Borla and my girlfriend has Corsa. If you aren't worried about that extra 5 or so hp go with the Corsa. I don't like the Borla tips, but I like the sound of the Borla better. If it helps in your decission I have yet to get my tips where I like them. I bet I don't go 2 weeks without adjusting the tips on my Borla. My girlfriends car has been perfect since I installed it 7 months ago.
