Just as an FYI...we have also been in development of a H/C package with a new series of cams. I don't have a graph scanned, but results before final tuning are 452rwhp and 422 with no spike Also....this is through full exhaust...MAC headers, and a 9-inch with slicks! This is just with our 4.8 truck heads and a very streetable cam, that doesn't require you to notch the pistons. Once we get the final numbers, we will sell everything seperate and release the specs. Should be a week or so.......as I know alot of people would like to be able to by the components to assemble their own combo.

BTW, Godspeed is right...the weather around here has been good...we put down 487rwhp and 460ftpds of torque uncorrected the other day...tracks SHOULD have been open. We will have some ET's on this combo come SLP day on the 15th!! (Thats the true test...who races dynos

I'll be getting the car ready for SLP day. I think maybe we've got the numbers covered since we made 452rwhp 422torque SAE through truck heads, 9inch, and FULL exhaust with mac headers. Stock short block of course. Well see how it runs full weight, this is no dyno queen....

Anyone wanting info on the new package, we will have info on it with dyno graphs at SLP day. We will post up further info whenever I scan it

Hey Chris, you are only about 12 hp off, but what is 12 hp among friends. 12 hp is nothing when you below someone, but 1 hp is everything when you are above someone.

Id like to see how the G5X2 works at the track. We will have our car with the new cam at SLP day. Care for a race among friends?

Track times mean NOTHING. They are not scientific. If you are saying that for an engine package to be valid, it MUST go in a car that has a Drag set up, and a driver who can race for it to be valid??
We can only supply an engine. It is up to the owner of the car to do what ever they want.
I bet I could beat you at Motorsports Ranch road course! but then you would say that the Driver and Chassis set up made the difference. That works both ways. The only scientific method is to dyno it on the same dyno, on the same day, in the same car. That is the only reliable way to measure engine to engine. Als the rest is just talk. A great engine in a slow heavy car is STILL a great engine.

Later.

So when are you gonna have us over on the same day so we can dyno both cars same day, same dyno?

I am wondering why we have doubters..? Just last year another vendor put down some AMAZING #'s on a 346ci with a Hyd cam with a TR224 cam.. Tq was also high.. No one said a word.. Years b4 that another vendor had a car dyno 450rwhp and everyone bashed them.. It's the combo people.. Not just the cam or just the heads.. It's the entire combo.. I for one can easily believe these #'s.. I remember long time ago when 400rwhp was said to be the max out of a H/C 346ci package. Then a 420rwhp popped up. Then a 430rwhp popped up. Then a 440rwhp popped up. Then a 450 to 460rwhp popped up. Why cant people believe it when a Solid Roller car with a 233 sized cam put down 475rwhp thru 12 bolt, heavy driveshaft and 4.30's? I would think a big Hyd cam could easily put down 460rwhp with the right combination.. Dont you think.

He tried for over 2 months to get you to tune his car with LT1 Edit. When he told us his opinion of you with a few explitives my eyes went You only gave him 2 of the 3 LT1 Edit disks he paid full price for and waited 10 hours for. He also said he waited all day to have his rearend centered with his adjustable pan hard rod, but after waiting all day nobody could figure it out! Adjusting a pan hard rod must be rocket science.

Don't worry about Josh though, Ken K. sent me the missing disk and we are tuning his car for him. Thanks for the business and good luck with your heads/cam package, you will need it.

Yeah I don't get the hype. These numbers have been made with ls1 heads and a smaller hydro cam.

Godspped, was the peak number a spike on the graph?

Its kinda gay how sponsors have to prove themselves, they siad they put down the numbers, so they put down the numbers. Everyone knew that numbers this good would come along, that it was just a matter of when it would happen and who would be the one to do it. Im happy to see more and more packages putting out thoes kinda of numbers and if I was in the situation to buy this, I would to shut all the doubters up. BTW nice flow numbers.

Ok, I'm not trying to knock on the work LG is doing but I have heard from alot of different people that their dyno puts out unusually high numbers. I would like to see these same 463+rwhp cars go to another dyno like MTI to back up the numbers and compare the dyno graphs to other cars that have also dynoed on the same dyno. I'm not trying to disprove your numbers but as anyone should know.. EVERY dyno reads different and CANNOT judge a package from one car to another just by comparing dyno graphs from two DIFFERENT dynos. This also applies to flow numbers on heads...but that is another story.

Another reason I bring up this point is the infamous G5 cam that put out 420rwhp on stock heads on LG's dyno...then goes on to anyone elses cars and different dynos to make 380ish rwhp.

I would like to beleive the potential is out there for this type of power but I would also like it backed up and proven

Does any other company "step up" to the challenge of dynoing at another company? No.

We still buy their products . . . even if we don't get the advertised #'s.

1) Sponsors, please don't hijack other sponsor's threads. In future I will delete all the hijack comments. Please start you own thread.

2) Members, please do me a favor. Interact in a constructive way on these horsepower threads. Sure some new combos put out huge numbers. I look forward to seeing these cars at the track.

I hate to lock this thread but it's a mess.

LG please start it again if you can be bothered.

Lou how pricey is that combo? Maybe I'll do it.

Good work LG.

Some people don't go to the drag strip.
