shaving heads?

Default shaving heads?

i got some 98 stock heads ported.

local installer recomended i shave them .020? or .024s?

would i need diff size pusrods other than stock 7.4s?

or would i need tp change anything???

idk, but from the sounds of it, it would lower the hight of your heads there for making your pushrods act as if they were longer and therefor making your valves open more for better flow. is this correct?

the shaving reduces the combustion chamber size making more compression. good for torque. and i dont know about the push rods

shaving or milling the heads will decrease the size of your combustion chamber thus increasing compression which will help torque. you just need to realize that with the pushrods the valve will open more and you will need to watch your piston to valve clearence. you could get shortened pushrods (probibly the best thing to do) because I reused my stock ones and my car now has sowing machine syndrome.
