I just got my Pewter Metallic "RAM AIR" Windshield banner today, but I have never installed any type of decal before. What is the process for a clean install?

 

First off, clean the window surface with alki <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Then if the decal is cut in the middle center the decal on the center and make sure the left or right sides don't touch...then get a ruler or something to press it slowly but surely with to make sure there are no airpockets...then do the same for the other side...if its not cut just do the same, I found that this was the easiest way...if you do get little airpockets pop them with a needle and press it flat

How close is the Pewter Metallic decal to the actual paint color?
