My car is throwing P1416- "AIR System Bank 2, 1995, 2.3L MFI"

Now, I ripped out my AIR system so seeing this isn't a total shocker. But, the latter part of the description looks a little funny. Sure doesn't sound like an LS1 <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> Has anyone else seen this?

 

funny i just got that code tonight after having the system gone for 700 miles.

 

I got that same code and I didnt rip out my AIR system. The ony mods I have are all the freebees and a TCI stall, 3.73s, and 4in Mufflex. I also had to relocate my IAT sensor cause I got rid of the silencer ears.

I got that code this week, blew out the EGR pipe o-ring.

 

P1416 is very commonly associated with a bad passenger side check valve on our cars (P1415 for drivers).
