Default GEN III/LS1/LS6 350 Xtreme RPM HIGH LIFT XR265HR Cam

Is anybody running this cam? The specs are:

212/218, .558/.563,115 LSA

How does it compare to the GT2-3 ?

I know it is a baby cam but I am looking for stock Idle and a power peak in the 6000/6100 range. Which cam do you think will make the most power?

Was that the high lift version of this cam? I can only find data on the low lift version. What mods did you have on your car when you got those numbers? They look real good if you just had bolt ons.

This is the only data I could find on the cam: http://www.vetteweb.com/tech/vemp_06.../photo_15.html

It's from an LS2 crate engine, and it's the low lift version of the cam. Still, I think the gains are really good for a mild mannered street car. With the high lift version I would expect even more gains... at least 15hp through most of the power band.

Its no reason to go with a cam that small unless you get a sweet deal on it used. Theyre bigger cams out there that make better power with the same maners.

Thanks for the link. Do you think this cam will make more power than the GT2-3?
