918 retainers on 921 springs?

918 retainers on 921 springs?

I have 918 springs and titanium retainers on ym heads now, can I use the 921 springs with the same locks and retainers, or do I have to get new ones as well?

I don't think they will work. The 918 is a beehive spring and the 921 is not. The retainers will be way too small in diameter
