Default Oil pump replacement

Just recently purchased an ARE H/C Stg II package, and will be doing the install as soon as the stuff shows.

While the engine is apart I will be

-Changing the timing chain
-Changing H/C
-Changing all gaskets

It was recommended while I'm in there that I change the oil pump. How much more involved is this? Are we talking an extra 30 minutes or 6 hours extra.

The car is at 50k and will continue to see some hard miles. Is there anything else you guys might recommend taking a look at / changing while she's apart.

(Got trashed on jagermister last night and at first sight of this it honestly made my stomache churn <img src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" border="0" alt="[chug]" /> )
