Re: How well should an Air Lid fit? if you want to find out if it is sealed good or not, take a cigrette and run it around the sides of the box. if the lid is drawing in smoke its not sealed good.

Re: How well should an Air Lid fit? My SLP is like that too, it fits perfect except for a small gap on the sides, I am still researching a lid that seals all the way... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

How well should an Air Lid fit? I installed my MIT clear airlid a couple of days ago and it just went back to examine more closely. How perfect should the seal be? The airlid is a little off on the front two edges (there is a small gap there) and on the sides to the rear of the box, it is not shut all the way (again a small gap). When I say small gap I mean like a few millimeters. It doesn't bother me so long as I am not losing HP or possibly allowing dirt in that shouldn't be there. Let me know if I need to send it back and get a different one!
