Sometimes it's loud I just finiished & went over the axles with the pipe. 3" all the way, soundsalot better inside, outside, no difference.
Sorry this can't help the original poster, but I thought you might be interested in some of this. If not, I will delete this post and begin my own.
That is an awesome exhaust setup. Could you go over what exactly you have? Were those pieces custom fabricated or did you just buy them pre-assembled? What kind of power difference is there between dual 2.5" and dual 3"? Also, how does a dual exhaust system sound different from a standard y-pipe setup? Thanks for any help. I am thinking of making a dual system with Hooker longtubes, Carsound cats, dual 2.5" or 3" with X-pipe, and chambered mufflers.

That sounds like what I want to do . I want dual 2.5" pipe. Black Sunshine, whose x-over is that, and how much did it cost?? I want a pair of Flowmaster 40-series 2-chambers after the X and ending right at the rear tire.

I may go with something simpler with a H-pipe under the tranny, but an X would be .

The setup I have is all custom. I wanted to go with a Flow 40, but I was worried that it might not fit. I might experiment with that this year. Anyone got some 40's they want to donate?
The exhaust is loud compared to stock, but much better now that I have the pipes going out the back. The x does tone it down a bit, over the H, and if you wanted to tone it down even more, you could go with a longer bullet. Good luck
