Can TR-6, gapped at .043 affect NA performance?

Can TR-6, gapped at .043 affect NA performance? huh?
I ran a 8.0@90 w/ 2.0 60'
On a 1.91 60' I ran 7.8@92
I added a shortbelt,front runners,ported stock TB,took out seats,disconnected swaybar and still ran a 8.0@90 w/2.0 60' And the air was freezing. What tha dealy yo? Is the plugs?

Re: Can TR-6, gapped at .043 affect NA performance? do you have an auto or a manual? if it's a manual, possibly slower shifting on that last run would cause that slow down. if it's an auto, autotap data will be needed for us to help out more like colonel said.

Well I do know that for some reason I was real timid with my shifting this time.
Also the Atap data looks normal. If anything the o2 are around .91x-.92x @ WOT, and that's on 2% lean.

were these on different days? even though the air is colder, it could still affect you in a bad way.

Yep,Air density / humidity will make all the difference in the world.Make sure your Throttle arm is touching the bump stop on your TB.The cable may slipped during the mods.Been there done that.It's good for a full 3/10ths loss. I know this from experience, but it is a quick fix and you get your piece of mind back. Good luck.
