its a piece of the bolt on puzzle for sure, but it is $$$
I have one...have not installed it yet...i chose to throw it on because it frees up parasitic loss through accessory belt drag...which will aid in faster revs and about 6-10 ponies, depending on tune...
If you have the cash, get it...but I would get other "essential" bolt ons before...LONG before...this is the last "bolt on" I have purchased...

Hope this helps

I assume you mean the Meziere water pump- I Just installed mine last week and have no complaints so far. I did notice an increase in power(SOTP)-actually surprised me how much but I guess the amount of power increase depends on the vehicle. It definitely keeps the engine a lot cooler; before the electric pump the coolest I could get the vehicle at idle was 171 at about 45 degrees ambient temp with both fans on and now it will go steadily all the way to 163 degrees and stops there so I think the thermo is closing at that point. I drilled the 3/16 holes into the thermo as suggested by Meziere to keep coolant constantly flowing to the pump so the engine does take somewhat longer to heat up now, but that is the only thing negative about installing the pump that I have noticed. I'm happy with mine

exactly....if youre going to build a 408...i am assuming most of your concentration will be heads...cam...valvetrain...rotating assembly...you know the **** that moves the car haha...an EWP would be the "cherry on top"

Good luck buddy

I'm very happy with mine. It was simple to hook up also. 10HP for 500 bones. Why not?
