Another damn cam question
Another damn cam question I'm waiting on my cam kit from MTI and wanted some input from you guys.
I got the R1 cam which is 232/236 .575 .575? 114 LSA , 918 springs and pushrods. Also getting the UD pulley They said I'd be fine with the 918's and using the stock retainers. Should I not be a cheap *** and buy some titanium retainers and maybe dual springs? I'm iffy on the retainers but may keep the 918's. They also said I could keep the stock chain and pump. It's an 03 Z06 with 14K. I'll be doing the install myself as the local shps here want 1000+
Will I be ok with this setup or should I change anything out?? Thanks fellas!

new LS2 chain is 25ish
hardened push rods are 100ish
gasket set
pump should be ok..if aint broke dont fix it.
i would update valve train for insurance and peace of mind..patriot has good deals
intake seals should be ok with 14k
Spring for some prothane motor mounts really good upgrade.
