Default LS6 intake on cammed cars with longtubes. What to expect?

Current mods are in sig. I am going with either the b1 cam or Thunderracing 224 cam. Im also going to get a local machining shop to do a basic port on my heads for me.. ( I cannot afford any more than that So, question is.. is it worh the money to put the ls6 intake manifold on? I have heard upwards of 20 RWHP with bolting this on to cammed and mildly ported heads Thanks for any criticisms or comments

its really been different across different cars. Ive seen 12 hp on a stockish C5, 0hp for Terry, to 24hp for jmX. Its kind of the toss of a dice. But there are no negatives. And the price is pretty good after you have done the easy stuff. Install is as easy as intake manifolds get.

figure it this way....you get to remove all the egr stuff from the front of the engine. so that makes it prettier. but i'd bet a little bit of improvement.

I don't think you would get that much just by adding the intake....I have one stock on my 2001 and stock tuning I made

360rwhp and 350rwtq....

Not bad for an M6 with stock programming

I gained ~8rwhp/10rwtq peak on my car, but even more area under the curve.
