You would think I'd know this but I don't.
I know the stock rod length is 6.098. What is it in my engine? Wonder if it would be possible to go longer with a different set of pistons?

What is the small and big end size? Are they the same as a sbc or bbc? 6.125 being a common length for sbc.
Colonel did you guys end up going with JE's in that motor? We spoke of pistons and who's was best before you got the big motor.

Probably 6.125". You could go longer with a shorter piston/tighter ring stack, but aren't you planning on spraying this motor? That'd require custom rods and pistons instead of just custom pistons.
edit - Just call em up tomorrow

I'm trying to get Sanders back to Houston for a mini-vacation, so we can slap a solid roller into his current motor. But, he is stubborn and wants to run 9.79 or better with the hydraulic first.
But, if he wants a new motor, he still has to wait in line behind MTI pimp #1. And, the parts haven't even arrived for my setup yet

LOL! I wish someone would tell ME...I don't have a clue!
I think there's still ALOT left in this 'ole low revvin' hydraulic street engine. Just gotta make a few more tweaks here and there. A lil' snip, a lil' tuck, a lil' twist, a lil' turn, etc...
Heck, I still got another 9 months warranty left on this thing. Why change it?
