if the lifters are are making noise and it is pretty loud is it okay to drive like that or will something damage more if i am daily driving it like that?

It is very possible you could create more dammage. Have you taken the valve covers off to see if there is slack in the valvetrain?

best thing to do is go ahead and get you some new rockers from crane or maybe so yella terras, and get a cam package that comes with springs, tit. retainers, pushrods. and get a set of lifters and this all will prob cost you bout $1400 but your car will definitely run better and you will have a whole new valvetrain.

If its bad loud ya need to find out exactly what its is and not assume.More ya drive it the more damage can be done!Ya can buy a bunch of stuff but would feel bad if it wasn't it or didn't need it!

oh well it finally made a loud bang and from a tick tick it went to a clank clank and its really loud now and now it wont even crank or start! what to do?

dont blow it completely but replace the block. keep a good core/spare

yea this really sucks its just sitting in the back yard looking pretty lol! I am thinking of possible replacements how much are crate engines for her? I was thinking possibly LS2 or LS6 or any other good suggestions? there was 95,000 miles on her I always said if something breaks replace it with something better!
