Default Valve Spring Question

Anyone know if it's possible to change the valve springs through the valve cover without pulling the complete head. I just dont want the valves falling into the piston bay. Thanks

Yes, it has been done countless times. You will need a valvespring compressor, compressed air w/ an air holding fitting tool for the spark plug hole, a magnet to keep track of those pesky locks, and a small hammer to break the locks free.
