Hey Rock

I've been looking into different options as far as fuel rails. I want to get rid of the damper in the stock rail to keep O2 variances from bank 2 bank down. I was originally going to modify the stock rail but, decided not to.

I was going to get the fuel rails from ls1speed but when I changed my injectors I noticed a bracket or something at the back of the driverside fuel rail. I wanted the crossover on the billet rails in the back but, I don't think there is enough room for the fittings. I talked with Tom Izzo(Good guy) about the thing at the back of the rail and he said it's something for the air injection system. He also said its only on the '00-'02 models so you should be OK.

I finally decided on '97 vette rails after picking Harlans' brain about his setup. He probably hates me now. The vette rails have a built in adjustable regulator where the damper is at on the fbody rail. The regulator is also vacuum/boost referenced which is exactly what I was looking for. One other thing about the vette rail is that the return is on the rail so you would have to run a return to the engine bay. If the thing is OK for Harlans 580+rwhp than it should be fine for our measley little setup.

I also got in touch with TurboTech and they were willing to modify a stock rail with AN connections. I didn't pursue anything with them so I don't know how much they would charge.

Hope that helped a little.

Johnnie

Mine were done by Turbo Tech a while back, but don't ask me how much they will charge. My set was the first set they did.

ARE does but I would rather get the rails with the threaded ends like the ones in the link.
