I was reverting my car back to stock and was just wondering if it was worth putting an '01 cam in compared to a '98 cam. (I have access to the '01 cam) Anyone know the numbers on these??? Thanks a lot

I've recently heard that all (LS1 F-body) cams are identical other then the minor provisions made for the EGR on the pre 2001 cars. Corvettes never had the EGR so there is a chance that the '01/'02 F-body cam is simply the very same as the earlier (or even current) LS1 Corvette cam. Maybe.

YES the 01-02s do have a diffrent cam. it it the same came out of the trucks, due tothe fact that the 01-02s do not have an egr to compensate for. they arnt a huge diffrence to do make a noticable tq curve.this applies to fbodys im sure about vets
