there is really only one place. In the passenger side head between the last two spark plugs there is a allen head plug. You'll need an adapter and I don't know the size.

Where on the LS1....

would I install a mechanical water temp gauge?? It's Autometer and has a large probe to install somewhere, i just don't know where.
