I have damaged some of the C5R head studs that came with my block. I bought a LS1 ARP 243-4316 head stud kit and the threads are different. Does anybody know where I can buy a head stud kit for a C5R block?

 

Try calling ARP and tell them that you have the C5R block. I could be mistaken but I thought the Head Studs on the block were Standard not Metric.

 

Check with wheel 2 wheel or katech......

 

Katech used to make them but they are all out. I going to try to call ARP and see if they make some.

 

Ok, just so everybody knows here is what I came up with on the C5R head studs.

The smaller studs are standard thread: 5/16 18 thread

The lager studs are standard: 7/16 14



ARP does not make a stud set for the C5R block. After searching for a few hours I found that A1 Technologies makes the head stud kits for the C5R blocks for GM. I'm going to call them and try to order a replacement set.
