Default 15" rims on a Ls1

Today I just the new draglite XP's 15X9 with a 5.5" backspacing. The rims fit just perfect. They don't hit the brakes or anything. I put on my Et street 28x12.50 and the tire sticks out like a biatch. Now I don't mind if the bulg sticks out but the contact patch sticks out a little. My question to you guys is can I fit a 15x10????? I have alot on inner fender clearance so i think a 6.75" backspacing wouild work well. What do you guys think. Someone with 15" rims talk to me
Thanks
Jasen

Prolly because of the backspacing.

The 15x9's fit great without the tire. They have the same backspacing as a stock 17x9. So just think of how those fit and that is how these fit.

Of course it is because of the backspacing ameet. Anyone could tell you that.I want to know who makes a rim with the right backspacing. Also I want to go wider so I think the brakes will really be in the way. Currently the brakes don't rub and the calipers aren't all the way in the rim. If that made any sense.
