Default Keith(maker of the McCord Power cutout) is a great guy!

Okay, I ordered a McCord power plate, the second version, used from a guy on this board. I got it and it was pretty dirty and so forth and I questioned its ability to seal and so forth. Also, the blade(butterfly) looked bent and did not meet the plate properly. Keith who makes them told me after I e-mailed him that the guy I bought it from had called him in the past and talked about the fact that his blade might be bent and so forth. I was agitated because I just bought it. But Keith told me fore only a few buck, like $6.00 inclluding 2 day air shipping back, he would look over it and put new gears in and so forth. Today, he e-mailed me three times letting me know of his progress and got it back out in one day. This is what he did for six dollars and in with a one day turn around:

"Alright. I put a new set of metal gears as opposed to plastic. The speed of the butterfly has been tripled, so it's REALLY fast now. When the LED lights, you let off and it coasts to a nice tight seal. I've cleaned it up, put on some new epoxy based shrink wrap that I now use and am filling in the back side of the body with liquid metal. As soon as it is dry, I'll regrind the outside so you get good gasket sealing, pack it up and take it to the post office.

I've excercised the butterfly about 75 times without a problem and even dropped it 12 times from 6 foot up down onto concrete to make sure nothing is loose."

I am so pleased with this service. He is a great guy that stand by his product and treats the customer right. I know he has been having trouble recently with business because asssholes ripped off his product and sold them under there own name for more!!!!

Anways, I recommend him to anyone loooking for this product. I am very impressed. Thanks Keith!
